Every day, people drown as they flee across the Mediterranean. During COVID-19 times as well. How do we get Europe to look and help again?
Our colleagues from Philipp und Keuntje let the European anthem sink. The underwater musicians from„Between Music“ play the „Ode to Joy“ as a requiem – at the bottomof the Mediterranean Sea.
The „Drowned Requiem“ spread throughout Europe. Particularly in the government districts thanks to specific targeting. Thousands of Europeans reminded EU Commission president von der Leyen of her duty through the campaign page, and United4Rescue raised donations for a new rescue ship. The Sea-Eye 4 – financed with 440,000 € in record time. And Ursula disabled her email account.
If the politicians don't take care of the sea rescue, we have to keep doing their job.
