Deutsche Bahn

People. Make. The future of work.

A glimpse into the giant world of DB

New ideas and approaches for an innovative future are being developed everywhere at Deutsche Bahn - from the workbench to controlling centre, and from the signal box to the on-board bistro.

One of these ideas is the "People. Make. Future." initiative.

The initiative addresses fundamental questions about the future of work: How will our work change? How will we work together, or how will workspaces and working hours change? These are all topics that need to be discussed and developed. And that's exactly what the initiative is doing, with the most diverse range of employees from the most diverse range of departments.

The new normal

Digitalisation, the pandemic and home offices have completely changed the way that we work. The challenge now is to use initiatives like these to embed this change in the company and create a new normal. This is exciting because this affects many industries and our agency group is working hard to achieve it.
